unfulfilledstrexHello Listeners and Goood Morning! It is a very sunny day today, a perfect time to discuss the new goings on in Cherrygrove City.
[The Radio host beams, his smile is bright and dis-concerning as ever.]
I wanted to inform you that I have found myself in a new location and it is a relief! I have been camping for the past few days in the mud. Strex would never approve of this!
[His smile falters for a bit as his brows furrow. The thought of staining his clothes with mud! It simply wasn't professional. Of course blood he would never protest, such a stain was acceptable and welcomed in Desert Bluffs. Expected even!]
In the light of good news, my dear Vanessa has grown to LVL 8 and is well on her way to being the best she can be! If anyone wishes to test her new skills I will be in Cherrygrove city and staying at the Center used for Pokemon.
In other news I have obtained a new Pokemon. The Pokedex is referring to it as an Espurr, a Psychic type. Her name is Lauren and it certainly is a shy animal. So I've taken to throwing sticks at it! It was timid at first, but slowly it is understanding to bring the stick back and promptly have it thrown again. It will be good for these two to get some rest as well as I. We have been training non stop for 3 days, but I would have it no other way. You can not get anything done without being productive. Productivity and hard work will always get you somewhere!

Date: 2015-02-26 09:26 am (UTC)Nightvale. A town that was our rival and idolized all at once. What excitement I had to visit it, finally meet everyone and learn everything about the small town! A long awaited plot was set in progress and our God creeped upon the unsuspecting town, before setting our expansion into motion. Of course this was for their benefit as well, Strex was only expanding and in no time at The Greater Desert Bluffs Metropolitan Area was born.
We were met with some resistance, but a quick company picnic was put into play to reward those who were deserving and those that weren't. Oh we made sure only the appropriate amount of reward was given to each individual, so do not worry, only the appropriate amount of deserved reward was given. There were also snacks!
With this advancement I was put in place as Radio Host of the new Greater Desert Bluffs Metropolitan Area...with our Vice President...Laruen...Mallard. What a women, competent in comparison to a chimpanzee.
[He pauses for a moment, allowing himself to take a breather.]

I'm honestly not surprised; let's say I know several people who work similarly back home. Not in the name of any sort of corporation, mind, they were working toward something else, but the idea is the same.
I'm also not unfamiliar with these..."picnics" of yours, if they are what I think they are. I know of someone who quite liked that sort of thing.
[Several someones, really. Many of them are dead now, of course; the one he's mentioning specifically is likewise dead now. But still.]

Date: 2015-02-28 09:26 am (UTC)However...the former radio host decided to take back his former glory and instead of sharing his town, managed to remove us from the station. Strex being better and perfect, wouldn't let that happen. Hidden, but accepting to Nightvales protest, we infiltrated his broadcast and offered empathy, a new tactic me and Laruen. Mostly me, thought up.
Some were very welcome to the idea and I even made some new friends, like that Steve fellow. He was willing to welcome our Smiling God, but his daughter, he was angered by the idea of fixing her. This is when, with the faltering radio host, he hoisted me into the very light I cherished and I vanished to the desert. Not my Desert though, to clarify.
[His smile returns.]
Of course this is summed up, a little snippet of the full story. The correct side of the story. Looking forward, it's a good thing Strex can progress without his meddling hand.
